The Financial Intermediary and Broker Association (FIBA) is a modern association, dedicated to the support of all professional finance intermediaries. Our Association recognises that these individuals often work singularly and need an organisation which is relevant to today’s market and ready to represent them wherever it’s needed. Serving the professional, commercial, and regulatory needs of our Members is why we exist.

As the UK’s broadest financial intermediary and broker association, our voice will tackle the biggest issues facing them and their businesses to create a fairer market for our membership. We welcome membership enquiries from Residential Mortgage Intermediaries, Commercial Finance Brokers, and Independent Financial Advisers and it is also our intention to provide every assistance possible to those who are new to the broker world, that are the future of our industry.

Choosing to provide lending and funding solutions to clients can be a very rewarding and profitable professional career in which the solutions are available to be accessed across literally hundreds of lenders. With this diversity comes the need to understand the markets and to remain informed about the variety of choice available and here FIBA is dedicated to ensuring our Members have access to the support they require.

As a Partner of FIBA, you are subject to the demands of several regulators and we want to ensure that your Introducers are following the correct and current guidelines. We are committed to providing our Members with important insight into keeping on top of their obligations, whilst ensuring they do not lose track, as we firmly recognise and acknowledge that under-compliance and over-compliance both bring risk into a business.

Lender and Funder Partners

Annual fee payable of
£2,500 plus VAT

Professional Services Partners

£50 plus VAT

How to join

Joining FIBA couldn’t be easier!

Download or complete an online form and submit to our Membership Team. They will then contact you with details regarding your membership fees which you will be asked to sign and return. On receipt of the required forms you will be issued with your Member access.

Financial Intermediary and Broker Members

Whilst fees are based on individual memberships, the maximum fee payable by any firm will be £60 per month, regardless of the number of individual FIBA Members
